After your initial consultation, you are ready to schedule your procedure. Our office in-house suite is intentionally designed to accommodate you during this 30-minute outpatient procedure. You will be sedated as we inset the weight loss balloon through your esophagus and into your stomach. Once the balloon is in place, we inflate it with a sterile saline solution. The inflated balloon will help you feel fuller sooner and jumpstart your journey to successful weight loss. There are no incisions so there are no scars.

ORBERA® is designed for adults who are obese and have tried unsuccessfully to lose weight through diet and exercise.
You may be a good candidate for the ORBERA® weight loss procedure if you are an adult, age 18 or older, have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 to 40 and have not had previous gastrointestinal or bariatric surgery, or have a history of hiatal hernia or acid reflux.
